The animal

The bee

The European honeybee is the guardian of biodiversity on the Côte d'Azur, essential for pollinating crops and wild plants and maintaining ecosystems. Today, however, they are under serious threat from the massive use of pesticides, disease, the arrival of exotic predators such as the Asian hornet, and the increasing scarcity of wild flowers, which reduce their food sources. In France, nearly 30% of colonies disappear every year, a critical figure that reflects the scale of the decline of a species so vital to the balance of our environment.

Aware of the environmental stakes involved, the Ross'Wild fund is providing financial support for a concrete action plan to protect bees, in partnership with the Var-based Bee'Osphera association, in order to ensure the long-term survival of these essential pollinators.
