The Bonelli's eagle is a fascinating bird of prey, a symbol of power and elegance in a precarious balance. By regulating small mammal and bird populations, it plays an essential role in maintaining the harmony of its ecosystem.

Today, however, it is in danger. The destruction of its habitat, increasingly frequent human disturbance, the scarcity of its prey and the fragility of its nesting sites are jeopardizing its survival. In France, there are only around fifty breeding pairs left, a worrying figure that puts the species on the brink of extinction.

Faced with this worrying reality, the Ross'Wild endowment fund is committed to working alongside the Parc national des Calanques to preserve Bonelli's eagle, by financing targeted and concrete conservation actions.
